Wedding Locations: Anyone else getting married on Ocracoke?

    We are getting married on Ocracoke Island, and I have been trying to find any other brides that are getting married there as well. I have found alot of information about other areas on the Outer Banks, but I am looking for specific information about Ocracoke. If anyone is out there and can help me out I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

    One quick note, your vendors may be limited because the ferry can be an issue. We have shot 1 wedding there and in order to make sure we were on time, we went very early and spent most of the day waiting. It's not really worth it for us to shoot a wedding there because of this.

    We were married in the OBX some 15 years ago and wanted to get married in Ocracoke but were told that you had to go to Swan Quarter to get the license......I have heard since that it may have changed.
